This traditional house on the slopes of this harbour town has been converted into three comfortable apartments with modern facilities. The house is a short walk from the unspoilt harbourfront of Skopelos Old Town, and is nicknamed "39steps" in honour of the delightful narrow street on which it is situated.
"39steps" is a renovated old stone house retaining typical features of island architecture. Each apartment occupies a whole floor with private entrance accessed from the shared courtyard, and each has its own outdoor seating area and private facilities.
High stone walls surround the home's courtyard, which is shaded by a huge spreading vine. In one corner of the courtyard is a small 'stone cottage' with an additional kitchen available for your use. You can relax or eat here at any time of day, overlooking the rooftops of the village to enjoy views of the harbour and the old town.
The top two apartments have direct access to this central area, while the studio downstairs also has its own private courtyard. As such this accommodation is perfect for individuals or couples, or for groups who want separate apartments with a communal area.
With its quiet location, a short walk from the harbourfront and its restaurants, the house gives you the best of everything Skopelos Town has to offer, whilst Glifoneri beach is within walking distance, past the town's old hilltop castle.
"39steps" is conveniently situated for:

- Beaches: Ag.Konstantinos (Glifoneri) is 700m walk from the house,;
- Walks or other excursions, including Stafylos beach (4km) and other beaches
Arriving at "39steps"
- You will be met on arrival at the port, and taken to the house
- In the same way you will also be taken to your boat for your departure
- Skopelos guide books and maps for guests to use.
- Wi-Fi internet access with the password made available for all guests
- Sofie, your host, has an intimate knowledge of the countryside and the coast of the island. She is more than happy to advise on walks, excursions and other leisure activities, and, for a small fee, she will take you on a guided walk
