NORWAY to Skiathos (then by ferry to Skopelos / Alonnisos ) new flights Apollo and Ving are continuing their weekly charters to Skiathos/Skopelos from Oslo. Apollo apollo.no every Saturday and Ving ving.no every Tuesday from the middle of May to late September. There have been rumors that Ryanair - ryanair.com - will discontinue their flights from Rygge to Thessaloniki this year, but these flights have not been removed from their schedule. A new charter operator will be operating from Oslo to Skiathos/Skopelos this year. Lilleput Reiser lilleput.no every Saturday from the middle of May to early October. In addition there will be regular commercial flights with Norwegian norwegian.no every Tuesday AND Saturday from late June to the middle of August with a possible extension of the timetable in both ends of the timespan. Skopelos
is only 60 n.m from Volos, 61 n.m from the harbor of Agios Konstantinos
(situated in the county of Fthiotidos) and 120 n.m from Thessaloniki.
The island has three harbors: The one at Skopelos, Loutraki (also harbor of Glossa) and Agnontas (used when strong north winds hinder the approach to the harbor of Skopelos town).
By Plane
Skopelos cannot be
reached directly by plane but you can fly to nearby Skiathos
airport and take a hydrofoil/katamaran or ferry to the northern port of
Loutraki (below Glossa village 15min to 30 min) or the main port of Skopelos
island at Skopelos village (35 min to 1 hour).
Also you can
fly to Athens and the international airport
of Greece Eleutherios Venizelos , fly to Thessaloniki
at Macedonia airport, fly to Aghialos VOLOS and
Magnesia Volos city.

From ATHENS via Agios Konstantinos port, 3:30 hours [#] you have to know that from Peiraius there is no boat to skopelos. from athens you can reach skiathos skopelos and alonissos island only from Agios Konstantinos port. Passengers can travel to Skopelos and the Northern Sporades (with a stop at the port of Agios Konstantinos) using special busses to reach the port which start at the center of Athens, completely synchronized with the schedules of ferries and flying dolphins.
The busses, joining the ships of ANEK LINES and GA Ferries and the flying dolphins depart from Kaniggos Square, Akadimias Street, in front of the offices of Alkuon travel Agency.
