In Skopelos it rains often. Even in summer two or three showers will cool the land and wash the pine forests that stretch down to the wonderful blue green coastline on the west and south side of the island.
In general Skopelos' climate is hot, through due to the island's forests the heat is always bearable.
During August, in the evenings 'meltemia' (the summer winds) blow, so a light sweater is often advisable. In winter it rarely snows, but when this happens the island becomes extraordinarily beautiful.
However the weather may be in Skopelos it is as pleasant as in any other region of Greece.
