unfortunately we lost by fire a part of pine covered forest about 1364 sq.m (24-25 Mar 2008), carelessness the reason and because of the strong SW 74 km/h wind and the fact that this year we have less rain spread fast to the forest. A great THANKS to everybody that participate fire fighting and stopped a bigger disaster. We believe that with the protection of all of us at about 1-3 years the new forest will have reborn . LET'S ALL OF US GIVE A PROMISE THAT WE WILL ALWAYS PROTECT OUR ISLAND FROM A FIRE
