VILLA KAMARES vacation with pool and beautiful views of Skopelos Sporades beautiful views of the village

VILLA KAMARES is a house with pool and of the village, the opposite of the port the Mount Palouki and the neighbouring island of Alonissos.

Villa Kamares is situated in the hills behind the main village of Skópelos and is accessed by a narrow, steeply winding road just above the town centre (good driving skills necessary and please don’t rent big cars).

From the house to the port is about a 5-minutes’ drive and to walk from the house to the nearest restaurant, about 10-minutes.

It is convenient location makes it a great choice for those wanting the privacy and quiet of the countryside, but very close to the town’s amenities.

It is spot in the hillsides; surrounded by olive groves crisscrossed with donkey paths, make it ideal for walkers and hikers.

The whole villa (190 m2) (kitchen, big living / dining room and 4 bedrooms each with private bathroom) is at our guests’ disposal!

Description VILLAS KAMARES

Villa Kamares, in 2002 built, is a stunning and unique combination of modern, tradition, richness and character all rolled into one fantastic villa. As you enter, the feeling of spaciousness and openness is your first impression.

The red tiled floors reddish stained open beamed ceilings and wood details all blend to make a warm comfortable look to these generous rooms.

Designed for large families and parties the villa offers a roomy, modern kitchen complete with built-in oven, dishwasher and microwave.

With a blend of stainless steel appliances and plentiful stained wood cupboards this well-equipped kitchen makes cooking fun and easy. The kitchen is open plan and is next to the dining room, which boasts a large wooden dining table and French doors leading out to a terrace that runs the length of the house. Here you find another big wooden table for “al-fresco” dining.

In addition to the kitchen you will also find outside a large covered dining room with pizza oven, BBQ and large dining table.

The views from inside and out are dazzling, of whitewashed town houses spilling down to the harbour, views to the sea and the neighbouring island of Alonissos and of gentle olive green hillsides surrounding you.

From opposite the dining room there is a sitting area with built-in style sofa and lamp to cosy up with your favourite book.

Down a step from this level is a sunken living room, open plan with the rest of the rooms. It is complete with a corner fireplace, again with built-in style sofa and French doors on two sides. One leads to the outdoor dining area and the other leads to the pool (4x10m with salt water) with an outside table and chairs.

The villa has four spacious and bright double bedrooms

The great feature of this house is that each of these bedrooms has a private bathroom (WC & shower).

Right at the entrance of the house through a small hallway is the only bedroom on the main level of the house (queen size bed - 1.40). This double-bedded room has nice open beamed ceilings and the French doors leading out to the front terrace and the barbecue on the side of the house.

Also in the hallway is the WC - shower room, conveniently located right next door to the bedroom as well as for the common use of the upstairs.

The rest of the spacious bedrooms are found on the lower level of the house reached by a stairway descending from the dining room and has all bathroom en-suite and also large French doors leading to the lower level terrace running along the front of the house.

2 double bedrooms on the lower floor have queen size beds (1.60m), private covered patio (area) under the stone built arches, or ‘kamares’ in Greek, which are the trademark of the house, to sit out and appreciate the same stunning views as the upper level terrace.

1 double bedroom downstairs has twin beds (beds can be put together) and outside from the large balcony doors is a pergola covered with reeds and a table with two garden chairs.

Each bedroom has a large closet and balcony doors, radio-/CD-player and as well air condition.

All four bathrooms have shower and toilette, hairdryer and an additional (in addition to central heating) heater.

From each room one have beautiful view of the sea, the harbour opposite side with the Oros Palouki and the neighbouring island of Alonissos

The second extra bed (folding bed) can be placed in the other two double bedrooms easily.

Pool liner & disinfection system

The pool was renovated in 2015, that means new liner (darker blue and what is more important is the change of the disinfection system; from chlorine to salt. The salt content of the pool water is 10 x less than in the sea and so you cannot smell the salt. So, people with sensitive skin will have no problem to take a bath. Τhe pool can be heated with a heat pump in spring and autumn.

In short-term accommodation, the accommodation is provided with cleaning items and clean bedding depending on the days of the apartment being provided for use by the guest visitor-temporary tenant while other type leases are cleaned every 3 days or once week or upon request.

The villa sleeps 2 to 8 people and additionally can accommodate additional 2 persons with extra beds, making a total of 10 people (and baby - as we have baby cot and highchairs).The three bedrooms with French beds have new Coco mattresses for a good sleeping comfort. Villa with central heating is fully equipped and furnished. Has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! Pool 4x10m with salt water offers additional playstation II, home cinema.
