Skopelos belongs to the Northern Sporades island group ( Skiathos Skopelos and Alonnisos ), within the Region of Thessaly, Regional Unit of Magnesia, in the Aegean Sea.
Area: 96 km² | Coastline: 67 km | Permanent population: ~4,500 residents | Highest peak: Mount Delphi (681 m)
Mount Palouki: ~546 m
There is no airport on the island (nearest airports: Skiathos, Nea Anchialos – Volos, Athens, and Thessaloniki).
Ferry connections from Volos, Mantoudi (Evia), and Thessaloniki.
