You will find connections from the main ports of Volos, Mantoudi (Evia – Kymasi Port for Visitors from Athens) and Thessaloniki, covering all the islands of the Northern Sporades.
From Evia (Kymi), for 2026 there are no scheduled routes to Skopelos and Alonissos, as the connection will operate only to Skyros (with the vessel “Achilleas” of Skyros Shipping). In addition, for 2026 there are no departures from Agios Konstantinos.
Below you will find indicative travel times and vessels for 2026, showing how to reach Skopelos from the main ports of mainland Greece. The islands of the Northern Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos) are connected to each other by regular ferry services, making it easy to travel between them.
The times and durations mentioned are indicative. For the final and most up-to-date schedules, it is recommended to consult the official booking systems of the ferry companies. For any updates or changes, our website is regularly updated.

DAILY FROM VOLOS the ferry SUPERSTAR of Seajets.
From Evia Mantoudi ( visitors from Athens ) SuperStar of Seajets on Thursdays and Sundays (final itineraries should always be confirmed in the booking systems). Apr 22 - September the larger ship Superstar II may be launched in place of the Superstar (which probably add and additional departure from Volos).
From 22/05/2026 the high-speed boat Speedrunner Jet 2 of Seajets will start daily routes from Evia Mantoudi.
From 30/04 the catamaran Supercat Jet of Seajets will start routes Islands - Volos .
From May the flying dolphin Erato of Aegean Flying Dolphins will start routes Islands - Volos and return. From 20/06, the Flying Dolphin XIX of Aegean Flying Dolphins will also start operating routes between Volos - islands and return.
For the summer, we will know the full itineraries towards Easter, while plans are already gradually opening up. We update every time our site with our latest information .
Unfortunately, we will know again with delay if Thessaloniki will have a speedboat as last year, more news after Easter, towards May....

SEAJETS
Information for 2026 is expected
2025 (June 27 – September 08)
Morning departures operated from Thessaloniki to Skiathos – Skopelos – Alonissos. Initially, routes operated on Thursday 09:30, Friday 09:30, Saturday 08:30 and Monday 09:30, while later additional departures were added on Wednesdays at 09:30 during July and August.
From the Sporades to Thessaloniki, routes operated in the afternoon. Initially on Thursday 15:00, Friday 15:00, Sunday 16:40 and Monday 15:00, with additional departures on Wednesdays at 15:00 during July and August.
The ferry connection Thessaloniki – Northern Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos) operated from June to September with the high-speed vessel Speedrunner Jet of Seajets.
Alternatively, travel is possible via Volos. Volos is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Thessaloniki by bus or train. More information about the Thessaloniki – Volos route is available via the relevant icon with the bus.

THE COST OF THE FERRY TICKETS
The itineraries of the ferry companies that you read above on our website come from mainland Greece and run routes also between our islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos with departures and arrivals.
If you do not find a convenient ferry route if you are coming to Skiathos by flight, there is also the additional possibility of going by sea taxi or by the small passenger ship Petroula of Sporades Lines from Glossa. Information at the central agencies or the owners of the sea taxis.
The Seajets ferry company, most times, especially in winter, when approaching the port of Agnontas due to weather conditions, has a free bus of Skopelos to Skopelos Chora.
