You will find connections from the main ports of Volos, Mantoudi (Evia – Kymasi Port for Visitors from Athens) and Thessaloniki, covering all the islands of the Northern Sporades.
From Evia (Kymi), for 2026 there are no scheduled routes to Skopelos and Alonissos, as the connection will operate only to Skyros (with the vessel “Achilleas” of Skyros Shipping). In addition, for 2026 there are no departures from Agios Konstantinos.
Below you will find indicative travel times and vessels for 2026, showing how to reach Skopelos from the main ports of mainland Greece. The islands of the Northern Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos) are connected to each other by regular ferry services, making it easy to travel between them.
The times and durations mentioned are indicative. For the final and most up-to-date schedules, it is recommended to consult the official booking systems of the ferry companies. For any updates or changes, our website is regularly updated.

Skopelos 2026. LAST UPDATE AUGUST 31, 2026.
ALL THE FOLLOWING ROUTES ARE ACTIVE
DAILY FROM VOLOS the ferry SUPERSTAR II and the catamaran EAGLE JET 2 of Seajets. Speedrunner Jet 2 of Seajets will also start its routes end of June.
Up to 02/09/2026, the Seajets SPEEDRUNNER JET 2 high-speed ferry will also operate in Volos.
Also active the flying dolphin Erato of Aegean Flying Dolphins with routes Islands - Volos and return.
Active and the routes with the high-speed boat Speedrunner Jet 2 and Speedrunner Jet of Seajets will start daily routes from Evia Mantoudi.
Also active the ferry Nissos Aegina of Slf with daily routes from Evia Mantoudi.
Active and the the high-speed boat Speedrunner Jet of Seajets will start daily routes from Thessaloniki.
A new route has began and operated by the Mantoudi Lines vessel Zefyros (passengers only), connecting Platanias with Skiathos and Glossa, Skopelos, with return services as well. Mornings and noon from Platanias ( south pelion ) and Glossa - Skiathos. The route will also provide a connection to Volos. More information for that route on local agencies.

SEAJETS
At the moment, the route is served by the Super Star II (conventional ferry), operating with 1–2 daily departures.
Route: Volos – Skiathos – Skopelos – Alonissos
& Volos – Skiathos – Glossa – Skopelos – Alonissos
Indicative schedules (final timetables should always be confirmed via official booking systems):
From Volos, the Super Star II is expected to depart at approximately 07:40 or 08:15, depending on the period.
From 26/06, the Seajets Speedrunner Jet 2 high-speed ferry will also join the line with an indicative departure time of 14:15.
In addition, the Seajets high-speed vessel Eagle Jet 2 will also operate on the route daily until 04/10/2026, with departures from Volos at approximately 14:30 or 11:15 depending on the period, and morning departures from the islands.

2026 (June 26 – September 6)
Morning ferry departures from Thessaloniki to Skiathos – Skopelos – Alonissos will operate during this period. Initially, departures are scheduled every Friday at 07:00, Saturday at 07:00, Monday at 07:00, and Tuesday at 07:00, with an additional Thursday departure at 08:30 during July and August.
The ferry connection between Thessaloniki and the Northern Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos), as well as Mantoudi, will be operated by Seajets’ high-speed vessel Speedrunner Jet of Seajets.
Alternatively, travel via Volos is also possible. Volos is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Thessaloniki by bus or train. More information about the Thessaloniki – Volos route is available via the relevant bus information icon.

The itineraries of the ferry companies that you read above on our website come from mainland Greece and run routes also between our islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos with departures and arrivals.
If you do not find a convenient ferry route if you are coming to Skiathos by flight, there is also the additional possibility of going by sea taxi or by the small passenger ship Petroula of Sporades Lines from Glossa. Information at the central agencies or the owners of the sea taxis.
The Seajets ferry company, most times, especially in winter, when approaching the port of Agnontas due to weather conditions, has a free bus of Skopelos to Skopelos Chora.
