HOW TO GET HERE
In this section, you will find basic information on how to reach Skopelos, Skiathos and Alonissos, the islands of the Northern Sporades.
Here you can find an overview of ferry connections to the Northern Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos) from and to the ports of Volos and Mantoudi (Evia – Kymasi) for travelers coming from Athens and Thessaloniki.
For Skyros, access is via the port of Kymi.

Skopelos is located between Skiathos and Alonissos, in the heart of the Northern Sporades.
The island has three main ports: Skopelos Town (Chora), Glossa (Loutraki) and Agnontas, which serve the ferry connections.
You can travel to Skopelos, as well as to Skiathos and Alonissos, by conventional ferries, highspeed ferries, high-speed vessels (catamarans) and hydrofoils. In addition, Skiathos has an airport with daily flights from Athens and direct international flights during the tourist season.
The peak tourist season in Skopelos is July and August. It is highly recommended to book your return tickets in advance, especially between August 1st and 30th, to avoid inconvenience due to high demand.
