The Municipality of Skopelos, after a unanimous decision of the Municipal Council, organizes an honorary event for the nomination of the internationally renowned French architect, designer and writer Mr. Marc Held as an Honorary Citizen of Skopelos, as a sign of appreciation and minimal moral reward for what he offers to our island, especially in the recording and promotion of the local folk architecture on the island of Skopelos, where he has lived for the last 30 years.

The commemoration ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 8:00 pm at the "ORFEAS" Multipurpose Center.
