Gysteri ( Glisteri )

To get to Glysteri ( Glisteri ), you will pass a beautiful olive grove and come down to the pebbly beach.

There was a shipyard in operation up until the early 1960s at Glysteri, where the island’s ship carpenters worked.

From 2019 the beach has an organized beach bar.

When is not blowing the meltemi ( north summer wind ) you will be able to enjoy its crystal clear waters.

Near Glysteri there is also the Trypiti cave.

If you go by boat, you can go all the way through, and enjoy a marvelous spectacle.
