Armenopetra

Leaving Elios , the next beach to discovery is Armenopetra . Trademark the rock standing upright on the left side.

To reach Armenopetra will leave the main road and enter a very steep concrete road , but this is pretty much steep and you will need special attention, anyway the blue waters of the beach and the magnificent views will reward you .

Usually the water is always very cool to cold apparently witnessing the existence of underground running water .

Beautiful sunsets from here and great views even to the village of Glossa .

In landscape, you will notice how lean and trees (something you meet more at the north side of the island) as Armenopetra especially during winter is affected by the NW strong winds as it opens to the sea .
